Project Overview

Overview

Managed by the AMD University Program (AUP), the AUP AI & HPC Cluster provides academic researchers and educators advanced computing capabilities through compute nodes with dual AMD EPYC™ processors + AMD Instinct™ accelerators, connected with GPU-aware interconnects.

Node-hour based allocations are awarded quarterly to proposal submissions supporting innovative, impactful, open-source AI and HPC research or educational initiatives.

Successful proposals receive cluster access for up to one year, benefiting both AMD and the academic community.

Allocations

Researchers at accredited academic institutions, non-profit research organizations, or government laboratories are welcome to apply for an allocation for usage on the AUP AI & HPC Cluster. Allocations are typically granted for 1-year intervals and provide access to remote AMD hardware technologies in a collaborative research environment.

Terms of Use

System usage is governed by the AUP AI & HPC Cluster Terms of Use.

Acknowledgement

AMD encourages AUP AI & HPC Cluster users to acknowledge AMD’s support of your research in your presentations, papers, posters, and press releases. A brief statement such as the one below is recommended.
